W numerologii liczba pięć oznacza ciekawość, przygodę i zmianę. Wybrałam Vie także jako ukłon w stronę La Vie en Rose i połączyłam to z motywem romansu. W tym projekcie przedstawiam moją interpretację miłości, seksu, romansu, bólu i zachwytu w relacjach. Te utwory mogą dotyczyć zarówno relacji z innymi, jak i z samym sobą. Słowo Vie ma dla mnie ogromne znaczenie – bo bez życia nie ma miłości, a bez miłości nie ma przygody. To album pełen przygód, z odniesieniami do lat 80., 70. i 90., któremu nadałam mój osobisty, nowoczesny charakter.”
Na początku tygodnia Doja Cat została bohaterką materiału w programie CBS Sunday Morning, aby obejrzeć. 1 października Doja Cat będzie współprowadzącą programu The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon w NBC. Kilka dni później artystka zadebiutuje muzycznie w Saturday Night Live, którego premiera 51. sezonu odbędzie się w sobotę, 4 października.
